I am a peace and conflict researcher and educator. In my work, I explore the relationships between nature, conflict, and peace through issues of extractivism, inequality, development and security. I focus on structural causes of conflict and violence and pathways toward sustainable peace.

In 2024, I defended my PhD thesis The Nature of Peace and the Continuum of Violence in Environmental Conflicts at Lund University, Sweden.

I currently work as a researcher in the Climate Change and Risk Programme at SIPRI – Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
