Originally from Brazil, my personal experiences and academic formation have shaped my research interests, my perspectives on peace and conflict, and the way that I teach. Much of my research is thinking with and from the Global South.

I speak Brazilian Portuguese, English, Spanish and Swedish.

EDUCATION

In 2024, I got my PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Department of Political Science at Lund University, Sweden. I have a MSSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University, Sweden (2018) and a BSSc in International Relations from Pontífica Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC Minas), Brazil (2016).
